The Receive Retreat is a safe haven where you can shed the burdens of the past, quiet the noise of the present, and listen to the whispers of your heart. The retreat is intimate with a capacity of only 11 women to foster a deeper connection and attention to each woman's unique needs on their transformational journey.

Healing Meditation
Energy healing-infused guided meditations will be part of our experience together to help you reconnect with your inner knowing and relax your mind and body. Each meditation will be intentionally curated to align to the day's focus/theme.

Drumming Ceremony
Give into the heart of Costa Rica's rich cultural heritage with our captivating tribal drumming ceremony. Led by native musicians hailing from the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, this experience is an enchanting blend of rhythm, storytelling, and dance.
Blue Clay Experience
Enjoy a guided experience with the native and natural blue clay, also known as 'healing clay' by our own waterfall on the property. The clay is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and has over 60 different types of minerals in it, used as a naturopathic remedy for centuries.
Time in Nature
Immersing ourselves in nature has healing powers for the mind, body and the soul. Enjoy the paradise that surrounds you by enjoying the beautiful onsite private waterfall, the lush jungle trails, the herb gardens, or visiting the beach via private SUV minutes away from the Imiloa.
Cacao Ceremony
Cacao ceremonies are an ancient tool of moving medicine through the body leveraging the magic and healing properties of the cacao. Combined with meditation, breath work, live music and song we create a space to raise your vibration and connect to your heart.
Relaxing Massage
Each retreat guest receives one personalized massage to relax and rejuvenate. There will be time throughout the retreat to indulge in the soothing and relaxing energy of a massage provided by local gifted massage therapists.

Hi! Welcome! I am Nichole Lee and I am excited to host you in Costa Rica at the magical Imiloa Institute. I serve as an Identity & Life Transition Coach and Holistic Practitioner. My mission is to guide individuals towards an authentic, fulfilling, and joyful life. I curated this experience to help women embrace receiving - love, clarity, joy, and growth - in alignment with their truth. It is a safe space to be loved, seen, and heard. Day 1 - ARRIVAL
- Arrive in Costa Rica at SJO airport and enjoy a private flight to the landing strip near Imiloa. You will meet the rest of your retreat sisters and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you fly over Costa Rica’s mountains and the Pacific Ocean coast line

Day 2 - RECEIVE LOVE
- Today is dedicated to receiving love
- We will start the day with a heart opening meditation and workshop to prepare you to open your heart to loving yourself & others
- We will then experience a cacao ceremony, to open your heart space, followed by time to reflect and rest
- We will end the evening with a delicious 3-course plant-based dinner

- This day is dedicated to helping you gain clarity within yourself

- The afternoon is open for you to hike the jungle trails, visit the waterfall, experience a massage, and/or rest
- We will come together for a 3-course plant-based dinner sharing our experiences for the day

- We will enjoy a beautiful dinner sharing our wisdom and insights with each other.
- The evening will end with a Yoga Nidra session to allow your mind, body and spirit to integrate all you've experienced during the week

Weather
December is considered one of the best times to visit Costa Rica. As it’s the beginning of the dry season, the water is reliably warm and sunny, so it’s the perfect time for outdoor activities. Also, as a result of dry season, there is usually very little rainfall during this time.
FAQs
WHERE IS IMILOA LOCATED?
- Imiloa is located on the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica about 3KM North of Dominical and approximately 25KM (30 mins) south of Quepos.
- The Retreat Center is on a mountain, overlooking the Pacific, at about 800 feet / 240m in elevation.
IS MY INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT INCLUDED?
No. You are responsible for your flight from your home airport to SJO airport.
WHERE SHOULD I FLY INTO?
- Please fly into San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport. The airport code is “SJO.”
- Please plan for your flight to arrive by 1p.m. local time if you plan to fly in the same day as the start date of the retreat.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE/DEPART FOR THE RETREAT?
- The retreat starts DECEMBER 16
- Please book your international flight to San Jose International Airport (Airport code; SJO).
- On arrival day for the retreat, we recommend that your flight land at the international airport no later than 1:00PM local Costa Rica time.
- This is because you must be at the domestic terminal by 3:00PM. Be prepared for immigration lines running as fast as 45 minutes or as long as 2.5 hours to get through.
- The local charter flight will depart from the domestic terminal at SJO. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the international terminal to the domestic terminal at SJO. The local charter flight will leave at 3:30PM local time.
- Privately chartered flights are provided from SJO to Imiloa's landing strip near Imiloa to cut the travel time from 4 hours in the car, to 20 minutes by plane.
Please note:
- If you cannot arrive at the international terminal by 1PM, please book your travel to arrive in the day(s) before the start of the retreat.
- If you arrive to the domestic terminal at SJO after 3PM, you will not arrive in time to travel on the charter flight. We can still assist with your transport, but you will be responsible for your own transportation to Imiloa as well as any cost incurred.
- If you choose not to utilize the method of transportation provided for your retreat to/from Imiloa you are responsible for the cost of alternate/ground transportation. For example if you choose not to fly on the charter plane you will be responsible for the cost of your ground transportation
You will depart Imiloa around 9AM on the last day of the retreat, and arrive at the landing strip at 9:30AM, with an estimated arrival to SJO airport at 10:30AM.
- The domestic terminal is a 5-10 minute walk to the international terminal at SJO.
- Typically, it is suggested to be at the international terminal 2.5 hours prior to your international departure.
- Please book your departing international flight accordingly, knowing that you will be at the airport at 10:30AM on departure day.
- If you book your flight earlier than this, you will be responsible for your own transportation to SJO airport (airport taxis are $285 one way, and taxis from Imiloa to Quepos landing strip are typically $115 one way).
WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR COSTA RICA?

HOW WILL I GET TO THE IMILOA?
- The Imiloa Team will guide you to the retreat's private plane on the day of check-in at the Domestic Terminal at SJO. The domestic terminal is right next to the International Terminal.
- If you arrive on the same day of your retreat the Imiloa team will meet you outside of the International Terminal and walk you to the Domestic Terminal.
- If you arrive in Costa Rica prior to the same day of the retreat, please arrive at the Domestic Terminal no later than 2:30 pm on your retreat start date.
- Once the group arrives in Quepos, where the Imiloa landing strip is, we will be escorted to Imiloa by private SUVs.
WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED? WILL ALCOHOL BE AVAILABLE?
Imiloa is a dry (alcohol and drug free) and plant based campus. A custom curated plant-based menu will be created for our time together. Fresh juices, smoothies, coffee, teas and water will also be available daily. Please email hello@nicholelee.love with any questions you may have.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?
- The RECEIVE RETREAT is non-refundable. All sales are final and money-back guarantees are not offered.
- By booking, you agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund unless the retreat is cancelled.
- Nichole Lee Global LLC (Nichole Lee) is not responsible for airline tickets, hotel costs, other tickets or payments, or any similar fee penalties or related or unrelated losses, costs and/or expenses registrant may incur or have incurred as a result of any trip cancellations or changes.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
A full packing list will be provided to all registrants a few weeks before the trip. Here are a few key items to consider packing:

IS IMILOA HANDICAP-ACCESSIBLE?
One bungalow accommodation is accessible as well as our dining hall. Please contact hello@nicholelee.love for more details so that we can discuss your specific needs. Imiloa is not currently fully ADA compliant, but is working on acquiring this certification.
DO WE HAVE TO TAKE THE SMALL AIRPLANE TO IMILOA?
- Included in your retreat experience is the small plane chartered privately for just your retreat group.
- This is already included in your retreat package. However, if you prefer ground transportation, this can be set up as an alternative at an additional cost.

SHOULD I FLY IN A DAY BEFORE MY RETREAT, AND WHERE DO I STAY IF I DO?
Mosts guests arrive on the first day of their retreat, but if you have the time in your schedule, we would definitely recommend coming in a day early. There are plenty of hotels near SJO. Below are a few hotel options to choose from:

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS THE FLIGHT TO IMILOA?
If you arrive at the domestic terminal at SJO after 3 PM, you will not arrive in time to travel on the charter flight. We can still assist with coordinating transport, but you will be responsible for your own transportation to Imiloa and any cost incurred.

IS THE WATER SAFE TO DRINK AT THE RETREAT CENTER?
Yes! The water is triple-filtered UV from our mountain’s well and perfectly healthy and safe to drink from all faucets on the property.
IS THERE WI-FI AT THE RETREAT CENTER?
- Yes, the retreat center has fiber optic high speed.
- Certain parts of the campus like House of Masters you’ll find intentionally without WiFi.
I HAVE SPECIFIC DIETARY NEEDS. HOW SHOULD I COMMUNICATE THEM?
- You will be sent a form to include all of your information before arrival.
- Upon arrival to Imiloa, you will receive a special wristband indicating your food allergies or modified food needs.
- This will alert staff to check with you before each meal to ensure you are served food that meets your dietary requirements.
IS THERE A WORKOUT FACILITY AT THE RETREAT?
No, however, the retreat center is on a mountain with excellent hiking and nature trails, and provides yoga equipment.
HOW FAR IS THE CLOSEST TOWN? HOSPITAL?
- The closest town (Dominical) is 15 minutes away.
- The closest hospital is 30 mins away.
- There are local clinics and/or concierge doctors are within 15-20 minutes away.
